New Model Colony

The New Model Colony is Ontario's signature master-planned expansion area — thousands of homes, schools, parks and mixed-use centers across former agricultural land. LDC contributed at multiple scales: Specific Plan development, civil engineering, surveying and plan checking for individual communities inside the larger master plan.

Coordinating multiple developers, multiple villages and a city-wide infrastructure backbone so each community could be built independently without breaking the master plan.

• Wrote Specific Plans that gave individual builders flexibility while protecting the City's master vision.
• Provided plan-check services so the City could keep pace with submittal volume.
• Carried survey control across multiple villages to keep boundaries, easements and infrastructure aligned.

Continued build-out of one of Southern California's largest master-planned expansion areas, with LDC's fingerprints on planning, engineering and review.
